UK Festival Safety Check

With summer events on the horizon, we asked people how safe they feel about attending UK festivals and cultural events. The results reveal big concerns:

  • Attendance plans: Only a small minority plan to attend this summer.

  • Confidence in organisers: Two-thirds don’t think organisers do enough to keep people safe.

  • Impact of safety concerns: Nearly everyone agrees safety worries stop people from attending.

💡 Insights: Low attendance isn’t just about preference - it’s driven by safety fears and lack of trust in organisers. To rebuild confidence, events need visible safety measures, stronger reassurance, and clear communication.
