OUR APPROACH TO MITIGATING SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN OUR SUPPLY CHAIN

At imabi, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. We recognise our responsibility to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains, and we are dedicated to ensuring that the people connected to our work are treated fairly, with dignity and respect.

As part of our efforts to identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery, we have mapped our suppliers and carried out a risk assessment to highlight areas of potential concern. Where suppliers have been identified as higher risk, we have taken proactive steps to engage with them directly. This includes requesting confirmation that:

  • They have considered the risk of modern slavery within their business and supply chains, and

  • They are satisfied that no such practices exist.

The majority of these suppliers have provided us with either direct confirmation or a copy of their own modern slavery statement. Any outstanding responses continue to be followed up.

All contracts with our suppliers include clauses requiring full compliance with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This ensures that our partners and suppliers are held to the same ethical standards we uphold as an organisation.

To build a culture of vigilance, imabi provides relevant training to staff to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within supply chains. This training equips our team with the knowledge needed to identify and escalate any concerns.
