Does the New Year feel like a fresh start to you?

Just over half of respondents (57%) say the New Year feels like a fresh start for them, while 43% say it does not. The results show a fairly even split, with optimism only slightly outweighing those who feel the New Year doesn’t significantly change how they feel.

💡 Insight:

The findings suggest that while the idea of a “fresh start” still resonates with many, a substantial proportion of people carry the same pressures, routines, or challenges into January. This reflects a more realistic view of wellbeing and life transitions — where change is gradual rather than tied to a single date, and support and motivation are needed beyond the symbolic reset of a new year.
