We're delighted to announce that imabi Community CICis now a Certified Social Enterprise and a member of Social Enterprise UK, marking an important milestone in our commitment to creating safer, more connected communities through technology.

Certification recognises organisations that operate for a clear social or environmental purpose, reinvesting the majority of their profits into delivering positive impact. It provides independent assurance that social value is embedded within the organisation's mission, governance and day-to-day work.

For imabi Community CIC, this reflects the principles that have guided our work from the beginning.

Our mission is to improve access to trusted safety information, support services and reporting routes through digital technology that helps people stay informed, connected and supported. Working alongside local authorities, emergency services, charities, transport operators, educational settings, businesses and community organisations, we help bring together the information, services and partnerships that contribute to safer public spaces.

Joining Social Enterprise UK, the national membership body for social enterprises, also connects us with a wider community of organisations using business as a force for positive social change. It creates opportunities to collaborate, share learning and contribute to conversations around innovation, community resilience and social impact.

This recognition reinforces our commitment to ensuring that technology is developed not simply to solve problems, but to strengthen communities, improve access to support and help organisations work more effectively together.

As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same:

Helping create communities where trusted information is easier to access, support is easier to find, and people feel safer, better connected and more informed.
