Do you agree with Conservative Leader Kemi Badenoch’s view that “cultures that do not respect women” need to “get out of our country”?
Three quarters of respondents (75%) agree with the statement that “cultures that do not respect women” should not be tolerated in the UK, while 25% disagree. The results show a strong majority in support, with agreement outweighing opposition by three to one.
💡 Insight:
The findings suggest strong public feeling around the protection of women’s rights and values such as equality and safety. Support may reflect frustration with gender-based violence and inequality, alongside a desire for clearer boundaries around acceptable behavior. At the same time, the minority disagreement points to concerns about language, interpretation, and the risk of stigma or oversimplification when complex cultural and social issues are discussed.
